Besides the previously mentioned bets, in French Roulette you can bet on a variety of number combinations. These are called the “Called bets”: Voison du Zero, Tiers and Orphelins. Or “XX and the neighbours.”

Voison du Zero

With this bet (two chips on a “row” 0, 2, 3, and one chip on a “split” on 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22 and 32/35 and two chips on the corner 25/29) this bet plays 17 numbers: between 25 to 22 (on the wheel). In order to play this set you need 9 chips.
The payout depends on the type of bet and the chips played.

Tiers

This bet requires six chips on twelve numbers between 27 and 33 on the wheel. This combination requires you to “split” numbers 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36.

The payout is 17 to 1.

Orphelines

Here 5 chips are bet on 8 numbers: Those between 1 and 9 on one side of the wheel, and 6 to 17 on the other side.

You must play one “straight” bet on number 1, and a “split” on 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34.

Payout depends on the bet and the chips played.
